We work within the Cape Metropole, the range of 250km from the City.

Get It Done was founded by Leah Abramsohn in 2001 when she had the daunting task of packing up the family home of 40yrs, from there the business grew organically over the years. In 2021, I (Christina) started working with Leah until she happily embraced retirement later that year. Khumbo was her right hand man and has been with the business since day one. He continues in his role as talented manager and oversees his terrific team of men & all removal tasks which includes wrapping of furniture & artworks and running of the trucks. Since 2022, we have grown and added a larger 7 tonne truck to our fleet , all our trucks are closed trucks , our plan is to keep growing to meet our clients needs.

My brother, Costa , joined us in 2022 in order that our services may expand to property management, deceased estate specialisation, etc He and I have owned and run a few businesses over the years ,all in the service industry thus we have a wealth of customer service and delivery skills.

Get It Done Packers is also part of our whole offering, this encompasses our team of experienced and gentle ladies who expertly pack up your home and those precious sentimental items. We will also unpack all our boxes and make sure things are placed where you want them.

What We Offer

Get It Done Packers are a team of ladies who will pack up your entire home from kitchenware, ornaments, clothing, toiletries, etc. We arrive with everything that we need and you can literally have a cup of tea and watch TV while we pack your home. We can also unpack all your boxes at your new home ,we pack everything into cupboards so when you walk in not only are the beds made but you will feel as if you have lived there for years.

Get It Done Movers come in the next day and carefully remove all your furniture and boxes and transport them in our closed trucks to your new home . Our team will expertly place all your furniture exactly where you want it , even your dishwasher and washing machine will be connected. Any dissembly that was done will be re assembled.

The team is very experienced with handling antiques and precious items and we know how important each furniture piece is to you. We offer specialised wrapping of paintings, marble & glass tops ,etc this service is especially required if we are going into storage.

If you need storage space we will not only find it for you, but will work out exactly what size you need.
